Why I Built This Site

I have been putting this off for a while.

Not because building it felt hard, but because I was not sure what I wanted to say. A personal site without a clear point of view is just a resume with a custom domain. So I waited until I had one.

Here is what I kept coming back to: for the past several months I have been learning to build with AI. Starting from zero. No computer science background, no coding bootcamp. Just a sales guy who got curious and started figuring things out.

And I kept running into the same problem. The resources that existed were written either for developers, or for people who had no intention of ever building anything. There was not much for someone in the middle: non-technical enough to feel lost, but curious enough to actually want to make things.

That gap is what this site is trying to fill.

The guides I have published so far are summaries of what I learned working through Anthropic’s courses. They are not comprehensive. They are just the parts that clicked for me, written the way I needed to hear them.

Future posts will be more in the weeds: specific things I figured out, mistakes I made, tools that turned out to be worth paying attention to.

If any of it is useful to you, great. If you want to push back on something, or share what you are building, leave a note in the guestbook. I read every one.

Either way: I am figuring this out as I go. And I figure you might be too.
